Public Workshops
Public Presentations / Workshops & Briefings
Stakeholder involvement and public input
are key elements throughout the master planning process. The
general public has an indirect conduit to the project management
team through a Project Advisory Committee (PAC). The PAC will
include representatives from key airport stakeholders such
as airport tenants and fixed-base operators (FBOs), as well
as representatives from local business, airport neighbors,
City Administration & elected officials. Members of the
PAC will act as liaisons to their respective constituency.
In addition to PAC coordination, public
workshops, City Council briefings and briefings at Airport
Commission Meetings are planned at various times throughout
the study offering the public an opportunity to learn more
about the project and to provide input. The public is also
encouraged to provide comments at any time through the Comments
page on this project website.
Finally, two (2) Public Presentations
/ Workshops will be held shortly after the completion of Tasks
2, 3, 4, and Task 5.1 (Inventory, Forecasts, Facility Requirements,
and Development Goals); and the other meeting will be held
at the completion of Tasks 5, 6 and 7 (Recommended Plan, Environmental
Overview and Implementation Plan). Representatives from the
Airport and the consultant team will be on hand to discuss/present
the latest study information through display boards and other
presentation materials. These workshops provide an excellent
opportunity for direct discussion, feedback, and comment.
